RPG Pokemon fans hoped Nintendo would take advantage of today's Pokémon Direct to announce an episode on Nintendo Switch. And if a new version of Pokémon Sun and Moon has been announced, the latter is not intended for the new console of the Japanese giant.
Junichi Masuda intervened during today's Pokémon Direct to announce that the next Pokémon RPG will be released on 3DS. Indeed, the creator has just unveiled Pokémon Ultra-Sun and Pokémon Ultra-Moon, the sequels of the Pokémon Sun and Moon released at the end of last year on 3DS.
In these new titles, the players will return to the Alola area where they can discover Pokémon that were not present in the original game. Not surprisingly, the story will take into account the events recounted in the last year's title.
3DS owners who want to rediscover themselves in the universe of Pokemon Sun and Moon will not have to wait long before they can discover Pokemon Ultra-Sun and Ultra-Moon. Indeed, their release date has indeed been set November 17 on 3DS.
