After being very discreet during the last year's event, Nintendo teases the "heavy content" for the 2013 E3.
As we know, Nintendo has a somewhat complicated relationship with the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Following the discontinuation of traditional conferences, with live streams often half-tinged or the presence of a single game in 2016, the Japanese manufacturer had a hard time making a prominent place during the Californian show.
Yet Brand Operations Director Reggie Fils-Aimé was very optimistic about the E3 2017 in an interview with Fox News. Here is an excerpt from what he said:
E3 is always a big time for Nintendo. We look at each E3 as a unique opportunity to tell our story. And we’re gonna have a big E3 this year. We’re going to be showcasing a variety of games. We will have experiences for… consumers will be able to attend the show for the very first time. So I’m not gonna tell you all of the various games and all of our little secrets for E3, but I can tell you that E3 is going to be a major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch, but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS.
It seems that despite the resounding success of its Switch, Nintendo does not intend to let go of its 3DS. Hopefully a nice wave of announcements in the coming months. The E3 2017 will be held June 13-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
